![]() ![]() ![]() So to answer your question, yes I think the deck could become a mainstay, though it might just be a bit too durdley and fragile to be Tier 1 though. This bingo card has a free space and 24 words: Cast Surgical Extraction game 1 against Reanimator, Tutor up Meltdown with Spellseeker, Resolve Eternal Witness+Ephemerate while your Delver opponent stares at 2+ Pyroblasts in their hand, Put Solitude in play with Show and Tell and exile your opponent's Emrakul, Build 2 additional storm by chaining Ephemerates on Spellseeker into Flusterstorm, Ephemerate Eternal Witness, Flusterstorm the removal spell, then rebuy the Flusterstorm, Cast Prismatic Ending on Leyline of the Void, Exhume a Solitude, Ephemerate Meddling Mage to a card revealed or Snapcastered, Chant Lock a Progenitus, Exile 4 creatures with the same Solitude, Discard to hand size after casting all 3 Ephemerates in one turn, Rebuy Meltdown with Eternal Witness, Opponent's life total is 45 or higher purely from effects you control, Get a flawless victory by Ephemerating Acidic Slime, Chant Lock 20 or more power of attackers, Cast Fable of the Mirror-Breaker with the help of your opponent's Blood Moon, Attack with a 20/20 Soulherder, Green Sun's Zenith for Uro after your opponent plays Torpor Orb, Cast Green Sun's Zenith during your opponent's turn, Race 3 or more Chandra, Awakened Inferno Emblems with Solitude/Uro, Retell the entire Fable of the Mirror-Breaker after Ephemerating Reflection of Kiki-Jiki, Cast Orim's Chant after your opponent Galvanic Relays for 7+ cards and Surgical Extraction all of your opponent's threats. Or just proxy in paper with friends or play on Cockatrice, just know that MTGO will have the best competition. So if you ended up hating the deck you would have some pieces that could go into a new deck and the other pieces could be sold/traded easily enough.īest thing you could probably do is get yourself a Manatraders account for a month or two and just jam a bunch of leagues with the different decks that interest you before buying into anything in paper. All the expensive cards that go into it are Legacy staples in one way or another, just across different decks though. So it depends on whether you are just looking for the most consistent Tier 1 deck to win tournaments with or if your goal is more to just have fun at your LGS. It is certainly one of the most fun decks I've played in Legacy though, so it gets a lot of points just for that. It is currently being played in Modern, Legacy, and Vintage, mainly in the following archetypes: 4 Color Beans to Light, 4 Color Omnath, and Bant Ephemerate in Modern. I think my win rate is around 50% so that is decent for an unexplored deck. Eternal Witness has been played in more than 8013 decks in the last year and is a key card in more than 96 combos (you can check them in the Eternal Witness combos section). I only have about 25-30 matches under my belt with the deck so it is hard to say. ![]() Just For Fun Deck Help Article Report News Discussion Brewing Primer Paper Event New Players SCD Casual Finance Mod Posts Places to Play MTGO Event Podcast
